Those who contemplate the beauty of the earth find reserves of strength that will endure as long as life lasts.
- Rachel Carson
This week, take your child outside and pause a moment to marvel at the wildflowers along the path, or the clouds up in the sky, or the birds up in the tree. Take a deep breath and soak up the beauty. Share the moment with your child.
Your experiences will inspire others, share them here. We love to hear from you.

Yesterday my just-turned three year old and I went to the Wellington Botanic Gardens, and after the obligatory feeding of the ducks, she took us exploring. We filled our bread bag with fallen autumn leaves and marvelled at the different colours and shapes. She was so delighted at the "magic" of the leaf rubbings we did later at home, that she's sending some to her cousins in Melbourne :-).
