Earth Hour 2009

A crispy, clear night, full of stars, created a beautiful night to participate in Earth Hour 2009. With 17 teenagers, guitars, pizza's, marshmallows and a campfire, the darkness brought us solace, rather then discomfort. It gave us time to talk, sing and listen to each other, casting our "vote to the earth".

Spending time together, raising awareness, sharing thoughts, reflections and ideas about global warning with these teens, who are usually taken up with cellphones and Ipods, was the real winner of Earth Hour.
